The Hybrolight is a standalone hybrid renewable energy street light that is powered by energy from the sun and wind. Energy from the sun is collected by the solar photovoltaic panels and the electricity produced, along with that generated by the wind turbine, is stored by a deepcycle battery mounted either in the base of the column or underground adjacent to the system.

A unique energy management system controls battery charging and load management including lighting time scheduling. By removing the costs associated with trenching and cabling, there are many locations where the hybrolight is the optimal economic as well as the environmental choice.
