EAL carry out sustainability reports and feasibility studies of renewable technologies. EAL are able to draw on their consultants specific areas of expertise across the spectrum of renewable technologies. The survey will highlight those areas that my require further feasibility studies to assess particular renewable or energy improvments in greater detail.

SBEM  known as  simplified building energy model, provides an analysis of the energy consumption of a building. The SBEM calculates the monthly carbon dioxide emitted and energy used by a building given its construction, geometry, use, lighting equipment and HVAC. SBEM ratings are scored from a scale of 1 to 100, with 1 being the worst and 100 being a zero usage of energy.

Breeam is one of the environmental assessments tools used in the energy industry.  Credits are awarded in 10 categories according to performance. These credits are then added together to produce a single overall score on a scale of Pass, Good, Very Good, Excellent and Outstanding.

The Code for Sustainable Home is a  form of environmental assessment applicable to newbuild residential project. It  assesses  the building on a number of environmental factors. The building is scored against each principle with an overall level between 1 and 6 given at the end of the assessment.

A EPC provides an energy rating for a building which is based on the performance potential of that building. Services such as lighting, heating and ventilation are taken into account as well as the way in which these services are con-trolled.

EAL provided me with sound advise and took all the hassle out of obtaining SAP calculations and liasing with my local council. Overall a very efficient and friendly service. Thank you. Sarah Foxhall, Clapham, London, 2010.

Thank you so much for sending through the Certificate so promptly. I have to say that I am extremely thankful that I chose your company to help me through the process of ensuring that our victorian semi-detached property was going to pass Building Regs once we converted the flats back into a single dwelling. Your advice at the very onset was invaluable as was the support that you gave me through the process of showing the Council that what was done was more than adequate. It has undoutedly been money very well spent and I am truly grateful. Not only were you patient and supportive with me (who knew nothing of the whole process), but your company as a whole operated smoothly and efficiently at every turn. Thank you so much, I would not hesitate in recommending you to anyone who has to go through the same process - contact Energy Assessors London right at the Beginning! Anna Lyndon Stanford, 2010.

I would not hesitate to recommend EAL. The friendly staff bend over backwards to accommodate our requests and the fast turn around on paperwork means we can market new properties without delay !... Residential Property Manager, Paramount Properties, London NW6
