Energy Assessors London Ltd was founded in 2008 as an energy consultancy practice specializing in energy performance certificates, domestic, commercial and public.

Our services also include providing support for building regulation compliance including sbem & sap calculations for pre-design stage projects, energy audits/surveys, consultancy work on sustainability and renewable technologies, including feasibility studies.

Mark Simons BA (hons) is a senior partner at EAL. An experienced energy consultant with a practice covering the domestic, commercial and public sector. A qualified NDEA level 3 & 4, Level 3 DEC and DEA, Mark is accredited with Elmhurst Energy. Mark's background in property management provide him with an indepth knoweldge of domestic and commercial property.

Monique Simons BA (hons) DPSl MIL RPSI, Director. Energy Assessors London was established in May 2008. Monique Simons spearheaded and was the driving force behind a higly successful sales and marketing campaign that has resulted in an ever growing national client base that currently stands at around 900 and is comprised of National Institutes, Property and Construciton companies, Banks, Solicitors, Accountants, Architects, Estate Agents, and private landlords. In the first six months of trading that took place in the depths of a recession EAL turned over £160.000 worth of business.

A notable networker who speaks fluent, French, Spanish and Italian, Monique continues to grow the company with her unique marketing talents, innovative targeting techniques and award winning charm.

Saima Choudry has been with EAL for one year and is the finance officer. Saima also manages the customer support division of EAL.

Viral Shah has been with EAL for two years and is the IT Support manager. Viral also oversees data processing.

Other members of the EAL team include Jerry Brown BEng, John Hale NDEA.

Our Philosophy

Many people ask us “what is this carbon footprint about?“  or  they say its “just another government regulation”  with no real substance. 

It was Charles Darwin who first warned us about the fragility of the earth we live on and that the slightest change in the eco system can have significant changes to life on the small and special planet we live on.

In the history of our planet it is believed there have been six mass extinctions where over 60% of the planets life has become extinct.  The Ice age was one such age. Life on our planet was under threat and only the fittest survived. We are now living in the 6th mass extinction – the only difference now is that we are the cause.

Energy surveys are a small part of our society’s attempt to make everyone aware of the cost  of energy and how we can save energy by using more efficient lighting, energy saving boilers, glazing and other devices.  The Planet will be a healthier place if each of us try to live our lives in a considerate way understanding that the energy we use is not ‘infinite’ but  ‘finite’.

From a business perspective it also makes sense, reducing energy consumption reduces bills and saves money.
